Follow these standards to ensure your listings are approved quickly and attract serious Rwandan buyers.
1. Accurate Daylight Photography
Photograph your item in bright, natural daylight against a tidy background. Show any cosmetic wear or authentic serial numbers clearly.
2. Specific Rwandan Location
State your exact province, district, sector, and neighborhood so local buyers know where the product is available for inspection.
3. Transparent Pricing & Condition
Always select the exact condition ("New" or "Used") and declare whether your quoted RWF price is Fixed Price or Negotiable.
4. Prompt Buyer Communication
Keep your registered WhatsApp number and phone line active. Buyers appreciate courteous, direct responses to inquiries.

Protect yourself and ensure smooth, reliable classified transactions across Rwanda.
1. Inspect Items in Person
Arrange to meet sellers during daylight hours in busy, well-lit public places or verified shop premises across Kigali and provincial centers.
2. Never Pay Advance Deposits
Do not send Mobile Money or bank transfers before physically seeing and verifying the product in person. RWANDA SOKO never holds funds on your behalf.
3. Test Functionality On-Site
Check electronics, phones, and vehicles thoroughly. Verify warranty documentation and confirm the item matches its listing description.
4. Report Suspicious Activity
If a seller makes unrealistic demands or offers counterfeit goods, click "Report this listing" immediately on their product page.

1. Marketplace Nature & Platform Role
RWANDA SOKO provides an online classified marketplace platform connecting buyers across Rwanda with products advertised by individuals, shops, and businesses. RWANDA SOKO is not a party to any transaction, does not operate an escrow or shopping cart system, and assumes no liability for goods or services exchanged between independent parties.
2. Paid Listing Packages & Durations
Sellers select and pay for listing packages with set durations (7 Days, 14 Days, 30 Days, or 60 Days). Payments are processed via Flutterwave supporting Visa, Mastercard, and Mobile Money. Listings are only published following successful payment verification and administrative approval. Expired listings are unpublished automatically.
3. Seller Obligations & Prohibited Items
Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, lawful photographs, and valid contact numbers. Prohibited items include counterfeit goods, illegal substances, unregistered firearms, and fraudulent schemes. RWANDA SOKO reserves the right to remove listings and terminate accounts without refund for violations.
4. Direct Buyer-Seller Transactions
Buyers contact sellers directly via phone, WhatsApp, or email. All inspections, negotiations, payments, and handovers occur directly between buyer and seller.

1. Information We Collect
We collect information provided when registering a seller account or submitting inquiries, including your full name or business name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, business location, and profile media. We also record technical logs necessary for security, moderation, and session authentication.
2. How Your Information Is Displayed & Used
Seller contact details (WhatsApp number, phone number, email address, and business location) are displayed publicly on active product listings and seller profiles to enable direct buyer communication. We do not sell your personal data to external advertisers.
3. Payment Data Security
Payments for listing packages are handled securely through Flutterwave. RWANDA SOKO does not store complete credit card numbers or Mobile Money PINs on our servers.
4. User Rights & Account Management
You may update your profile details, edit active listings, or request account closure at any time through your Seller Dashboard or by contacting support@rwandamarket.com.
